How to Accept PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and Card Payments on One Invoice
Updated 2026-07-29
The easiest way to get paid slower is to make paying you confusing
A customer who has to ask "how do I actually pay you?" is a customer whose payment gets delayed by a day or a week while that question sits in an inbox. Trades Chaser puts every payment method you accept directly on the invoice, so there's nothing to ask.
Set your payment methods once
From Settings, add the ways you actually accept payment: PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Stripe, Square, or a bank transfer. Add a QR code where the method supports it, so a customer can scan and pay in seconds instead of typing in a handle from memory.
They show up everywhere a customer looks
- On the customer-facing invoice view, right where the amount due is shown
- On the branded PDF version, in case a customer prefers a document over a link
- In the customer portal, alongside quote and job details
You're not locked into one processor
Plenty of invoicing tools assume every customer pays through one embedded checkout. Trades Chaser instead shows every method you actually accept side by side, so a customer who prefers Zelle isn't forced through a card processor, and one who wants to pay by card can use whatever link or QR code you've set up for that.
Set it up once, benefit on every invoice after
This is a five-minute Settings task that pays off on every single invoice from then on — no re-explaining how to pay, no follow-up question, just a clear set of options right where the customer is already looking.
